Surrounded by a beautiful, historical park that slopes down towards Holbæk Fjord, you will find the well-reputed Hotel Strandparken. For generations, Hotel Strandparken has been the place for all kinds of celebrations and, traditionally, the companies of the region have chosen it as their venue for general meetings etc. This is still so, but as of 1 January 2006 Hotel Strandparken is part of a fair-sized group consisting of Vilcon Hotel & Conference Centre, Hotel Jens Baggesen and the Vilcon Brew House in Slagelse. As a result, the hotel has undergone extensive renovation during the first half of 2006 and now appears as a modern conference hotel with 33 rooms and state-of-theart conference facilities accommodating 300-400 people.

Likewise, the restaurant now offers a stimulating a la carte menu as well as party menus that change with the seasons or are composed especially for the individual event.

FACILITIES 
Hotel Strandparken has 31 double rooms and 2 suites with elevation beds and spa bath. A large number of the rooms face the park and the fjord. All rooms are equipped with bath and toilet, TV with international channels, clock radio, hair drier, coffee/tea facilities and free wireless network. The large, light-filled conference rooms are fully equipped with up-to-date AV equipment such as whiteboard, flip charts on wheels, data projector, DVD, CD, DAB and wireless network.

Guests also have free access to PCs and Internet in the commonareas. The largest of the conference rooms can accommodate school desk seating of up to 300 people. In addition to a number of group rooms, the many quiet common areas offer rich possibilities for group work; and on fine summer days the terrace may serve that purpose, too.

RESTAURANT
The restaurant is beautifully situated, offering views of the park and the fjord. For conferences, we usually ask our excellent chef to demonstrate his creativity. In addition, we offer a stimulating a la carte menu with a selection of six or seven courses which is changed every three weeks. The party menus follow the seasons - spring, summer, autumn and winter - but if you have other preferences, you are welcome to make specialarrangements with our chef and restaurant manager. In the evening, our guests typically choose to relax in the lounge which is equipped with billiards and a bar serving different beer and drinks.

LEISURE-TIME FACILITIES
Hotel Strandparken offers our guests a choiceof petanque, billiards, various games, peace and quiet to read the daily papers, or a nice stroll or jog around the park.

In addition, a mere 100 metres from Hotel Strandparken you will find an excellent Turkish bath as well as a bathing jetty if you wish to take a swim in the clean water of Holbæk Fjord. Within a radius of five kilometres, the area boasts a beautiful and attractive golf course, the ’Co-operative Village’, a theatre, several places with live music as well as much beautiful countryside.
